Tony Zappia, federal member for the seat of Makin, hosted a morning tea on Friday 10 June 2016 to acknowledge the ongoing community work of a number of organisations and individuals within the local area.  Representatives from local organisations were invited to attend.

PP Keith was pleased to represent the Rotary Club of Modbury on the occasion and was able to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from our local federal member.

Quiz Night

Some of our club members attended a Quiz Night on Saturday the 21st of May, organised by the Rotary Club of Tea Tree Gully, at the Burnside Community Centre.

The purpose was to raise funds for “The Eastern Adelaide Domestic Violence Service” (EADVS). Approximately 190 people attended, and raised between $4000 to 4500 on the night. Everyone had a good time, and our club came away with a prize as well, albeit “The Wooden Spoons”.

TTG Toy Library Sponsorship Presentation

Mark Hay presenting a cheque for $1,000 to Lyn Turner – the Manager of the Toy Library. The club has continued its sponsorship of the toy library for a further twelve months, having already sponsored the Library for three years.

Donation: Habitat For Humanity Presentation

This donation will go towards food and refreshments for corporate volunteers assisting in the Pinery Fire Recovery, this has included Volunteers from ASIC.
