Great Cycle Challenge 2019

A Message from Dean Bartley :

Hi,

As you may know, I have been riding in the Great Cycle Challenge this month to fight kids’ cancer.

And my challenge ended yesterday. In fact, for me riding in this challenge ended on 23 October when I had a cycling accident and hurt my back. Despite my own inconvenience I still encourage everyone to make a contribution for this great cause to fight kids cancer.

So far I’ve ridden 238.7km to end childhood cancer and help these brave kids fight this terrible disease. It’s been tough, but it’s worth every aching muscle to help these kids.

Why have I put myself through this? Because over 600 Australian children are diagnosed with cancer every year.

Kids should be living life, not fighting for it.

Please sponsor me now on the last day of my challenge and support my efforts to save little lives.

To make a donation, visit my page below:

All funds raised will support Children’s Medical Research Institute to provide care, develop treatments and find a cure for childhood cancers.

Thank you for your support.

Dean

Meet Trent, from the King’s Baptist Grammar School, he will be attending the 2020 National Youth Science Forum. Thanks to our support this ‘future surgeon’ will get to experience a program designed to give students a broader understanding of the diverse study and career options available in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and to encourage continued studies in these fields.

We look forward to hearing more from him after the forum next year!
