Congratulations to Mike Smith, one of our very own members, who completed the Bike Ride for Project Discovery#3

The ride is 3 days long through the Adelaide Hills to raise funds for the Neil Sachse Centre in support of Spinal Cord Injury Research. To learn more about this event please visit their website.

School & Community Services Awards

Rotarian Mark presented the award winners at the four Golden Grove Schools:

Stephanie M. from Pedare College

Unfortunately Melissa from Gleeson College was unable to attend.

The overall winner of Student of the Year was a tie: Chelsea P & Stephanie M.

HAT DAY SUCESS!

Thank You Everyone who supported this year’s HAT DAY DINNER!

We managed to raise some much needed funds for the Lift the Lid campaign from the Dinner & Raffle.

The club would also like to extend a special Thank You to our guest speaker for the night, David Moran from Mental Health Partners. He delivered an amazing and insightful presentation about the importance of Mental Health First Aid.

Meeting #8 on October 23rd at The Grove is being dedicated to HAT DAY!

The fund-raising event where you wear a Hat and make a Donation to help shine a light on Mental illness in Australia.
